Take a Golf Vacation in Orlando For Fun This Winter

If you love to play golf and find that your local golf club is closed because of snow and cold, it may be time to head to Orlando for a fun in the sun golf trip. When you first arrive to the Orlando area you realize just how many golf courses are available. Like many players have learned when they head to Central Florida, there are many types of courses that include everything from pitch and putt, to world class country clubs that have hosted PGA events.

Disney World Golf

If you want great hospitality you can head to Disney World in Lake Buena Vista for some of the best greens and fairways in the area. You will also get a chance to see the parks as you drive by and get a feel for how large Disney is and why so many families head there each year. Make sure you get tee times ahead of time, and they offer afternoon lower rates if you want to save some money.

Orlando Area Golf Courses

The choices are incredible in and around Orlando, and finding somewhere to play that matches your skill level should not be a problem. Many of the country clubs offer the golf cart as part of the greens fees, but make sure you ask ahead of time. Bermuda Grass is what you will see at most area courses, and will be an adventure if you play it for the first time.

Kissimmee is close by, and they have plenty of golf courses that are on the lakes that are plentiful in the area. You will be face with plenty of water shots, so be ready. Alligators are native to the area, so do not be in a hurry to find your ball when you do lose it in the water, most pro shops will let you know if there are any gators in the area.

Great Deals On Clubs

Another nice thing about heading to Orlando is all of the golf shops that are around, you will get a chance to get a great deal on some clubs, travel bags, balls or clothing. Just being able to head south and not worry about being wrapped to stay warm is enough for most golfers, but knowing that you can find what you may have forgot to bring at the best price is another reason enjoy visiting Florida.

Find your best flight deal or drive down and know that warmth, sunshine and plenty of golf is always available all Winter long in Orlando, and once you feel the warmth on your skin, you won’t even care how well you played.
