Take a look at the video in the Source section of this answer. It may not directly answer your question about fixing your slice, but it talks more about the swing timing and take-back.

I fixed my slice by drawing the driver straight back from the ball until my natural body rotation lifted the club from the ground and then behind me. Do not pause in your backswing, go directly but smoothly into a forward motion. As you strike the ball, try to “throw” your hands towards your target, following through with your swing high and above your shoulders, not behind you like a baseball swing. The video shows an excellent practice method that should help fix your slice. Set up like normal, then lift the driver just above the ball. Like a pendulum, rotate your upper torso to swing the driver towards your target, then directly into your backswing. Without stopping your backswing, make a smooth transition into your forward swing and followthough by turning your torso toward your target (belt buckle facing target). If it sounds confusing, watch the video below. It really will help. Good Luck!

Try putting your driver head cover about 3 inches to the outside of the ball. Lay it so the end of the head cover is even with the golf ball, and the rest of the head cover is toward your back foot (long ways). When you swing you will be able to tell instantly if you came from the inside. If you hit the head cover you came from the outside, if you miss the head cover you came from the inside.

Just make sure it’s a soft head cover, so you don’t damage your club.

    Hope this helped:)

    This worked for me.

When on the range, visualize the ball as being a clock with 12 pointed down the target line and 6 pointing directly back. An outside in swing will usually result in the clubface striking the ball somewhere between 4 and 6 o’clock.

In order to hit the ball straight you need to strike the ball at 6 o’clock and to put a draw or hook on the ball you need to hit it between 6 and 7 o’clock. In all cases obviously the clubface should be square to the ball.

Slow your swing down completely, most golfers swing harder and faster in order to get extra distance on their shot but it doesnt work like that. Your club is doing the work for you. If you are speeding up your swing then you will change the timing of your swing and get your hands to the ball before the rest of your body and this causes the slice. If you slow down so that you begin to turn your hips the moment your hands impact with the ball you will begin to eliminate your slice. The key is making sure your hands do not come through the ball any quicker than the rest of your body. A great course that teaches simple tips to improve your golf game fast is
