What does it mean to score a 45 in golf?

I have heard that people score 50 and 45 in golf, but I really don’t understand what it is. Can someone please clarify.

    great nine!

That is the number of strokes in 9 holes.

45 = 45 strokes. That’s an average of 5 strokes per hole for 9 holes. Bogey golf. Not too shabby.

Assuming the course is regulation size (the average par for nine holes is 36 – it may vary), then 45 is exactly bogey golf. However, the average par for executive courses on nine holes is 27 (but this par may also vary). If they scored 45 on nine holes of an executive course, then they shot double-bogey golf.

Its how many times a person hit the ball to get it in the hole after nine holes but it’s not that great because I am in highschool not even on the golf team and I can shoot a 45!!!

  6. Amers says:

it is the number of strokes it took the person to finish 9 holes of golf. 45 is pretty decent because par aka what like the pros shoot is usually like 35-37.

    good score for nine holes

  8. Hawk says:

this is the number of stroke s they have taken, typically this score is for nine holes.
