You need to shoot around 75 to get the looks. If you can break 70 in a few tournaments it will help too.

If you want a full ride to a D-I school you are most likely gonna have to be able to consistantly score around even par or better.

Golf scholarships at college are quite scarce and when you refer to the ” college golf factories ” Wake Forest, Florida, Ohio State, Clemson,Arizona , Arizona State, Georgia.Texas, Baylor, the sub par shooters apply to those schools. They are also recruited by them. Your best avenue is to win and excel at the high school level, participate in the state juniors, amateur and open events and be a factor. Now see who on the state golf association is willing to make the college contacts for you. Three youngsters had or have full scholarships. One was the team mate of Villegas at Florida. The other two are brothers who have qualified for the US Amateur in successive years, did well in state circles . One is going into his junior year at William & Mary while the younger is on the Baylor team in Texas. The answer I would give you is be high in the academic studies and no more than a 2 handicap in competition. This is who you will be competing with.

if you can shoot in the low 70’s to a 68 or 69 then you will have a good chance
