Is it possible to use a golf bag as a backpack?

Do you think it is possible to use a golf bag as a regular backpack, to hold some books, possibly some clothes, and what have you.

I don’t have any experience with golf bags whatsoever but was just curious as to whether they could be substituted as a regular backpack, and if so, how practical or impractical that would be.

Cheers and thanks.

You can stuff clothes but books could get a little tricky

    That’s thinking outside the box…

You might want a cart bag- the pouches would be bigger, so you could fit more books in there. Maybe take out the dividers…

    i don’t think it’s a good idea…

how are you gonna get the things that you need that u packed right at the bottom of it?? unless u make some ingenius changes to it, such as openings right at the bottom.

it’s possible to use one as a toilet if you need it.

    improbable.

you could but it’s not a great idea, it’s heavier than an average bag even when you take the club holes out, and would be hard getting things off the bottom. plus a lot of them have no top so your stuff would spill out. just get a backpack or a duffell.

    Why not?
But.. than again if you had a better choice, would you still use a golfbag?

    not very practical…unless you’re a poster salesman
