What changes would you like to see in the standard golf bag?
What needs to be improved about the standard golf bag? What practical upgrades would you personally like or would persuade you to buy a specific bag?

i would like it to have 2 straps and have wheels so i dont have to pick it up all the time
First off I’m assuming your talking about a carrying bag, not a cart bag. I just got a new calloway bag a year or two ago. I love it. Most bags are pretty similar but this bag had some small things that set it apart. Things like an insulated “cup holder”. If you like to carry your own bag and you don’t get a cart this is great. Especially on the hot days I love to take a water bottle with me when I golf. Its a pain to carry it around and then when you have to take shots you have to put it on the ground. Little things like this make a big difference. Obviously the other things that make a bag nice is the weight, how comfortable it is to carry, and other things like this. One of the greatest things about the new golf bags is the stander leg things that come out when you put the bag down. However, some bags have these but they are more of a frustration than a benefit. I would definitely recommend trying this before you buy a bag, some work fine on store room floor but suck when on the grass. One thing my bag doesn’t have that I wish it did have, is a pocket big enough to put my golf shoes. It is nice being able to store your shoes in your bag, then when you are ready to golf you just grab your bag and you have everything you need.
The one thing that I am going to look for in a new golf bag is individual golf club pockets. A lot of bags have like 6-7 different pockets for the clubs. I have always had problems with pulling clubs out when you have to have more than one club in there. I would agree with the insulated water cooler that is a good feature.
bigger holes. my clubs get stuck in those small holes
