Golf Tips – Are You Addicted to the Game of Golf?
It’s true Golf is an addiction, we go out and play absolutely terrible, everything goes wrong, BUT we then hit that 1 great shot. That’s the addiction. That elusive Champion like Golf Shot.
The swing is effortless you hear that sound as the club head makes contact with the golf ball followed by that swooshing sound as it takes off into the sky, you follow through and watch as the ball keeps gaining height going straight and true, what a feeling that is.
Then your golf ball drops from the sky and lands on the green, 1 bounce and then it slows as it makes its way towards the hole.
That Golf Ball can stop 5, 10, 20 or even 30 feet from the hole but it’s on the Putting surface. Now tell me that isn’t one of the best feelings in the world (I can name others but it’s Golf we are talking about). That’s what keeps us coming back for more.
I have been playing off and on for more years than I care to remember. Yes I have improved my game but I will never be a single handicap Golfer but I still have to get out and play, I still want to make a par, I still want to see my Drive go straight and down the middle for 250 yards, I still want my second shot to leave the fairway with the divot following the ball and then watch excitedly as my ball floats down from the hazy blue sky into the middle of the perfectly manicured green.
OK that is a rare event but that’s why you and I keep going back. “Today will be the perfect round.” If only!
